Module description

This page describes the different functions of the vision toolbox (identifier: ALVisionToolbox). Please refer to the framework page to get general information on modules.

The ALVisionToolbox module is a vision module, aggregating different features that don't justify to have their own module. In this way, we avoid to get one permanently running thread per feature.

You will find here a function that tells if NAO is in a bright or dark environment or there is backlighting, a digital camera mode for shooting pictures in jpeg, another one to take and store pictures regularly with different available parameters, a function to record AVI video file with MJPG compression. Finally, there is also a function that tells NAO to look at his hands to set the camera white balance.
