Interfacing NAO and the Bluetooth board

Overview

The Bluetooth module provides an easy way to communicate with a distant device of your own conception using the Aldebaran Bluetooth board. This board provides:

  • Four analog inputs
  • Six digital inputs
  • Four digital outputs
  • Two motor control outputs
  • Two PWM outputs
  • Two servo outputs

This module allows you to connect any device you want to NAO, and interface it with your robot, or using Choregraphe. You can directly command the speed of a motor, or the angle of a servo. You can include these commands in NAO's behaviors.

Example:

You can make NAO control a little vehicle, or add new sensors to him if you attach the module to his body.
