We have so many variables now, many of which are pseudo-constant, that we collect them in a list. This list will be filled with the constants as they are needed.This will be a list of rewrite rules. You can prepend a new value for a variable in the list, effectively overruling the default value.
This works as the Graphics Options construction, such as 'Frame->True'.

WARNING. Setting one of the conversionconstants hard, for instance setting MaxPolygons=3, will override any value set in ConversionConstants!!!
