Flybar control rod binding

The flybar control rod binds against the "main rotor pitch housing", to be precise the arm of the blade holder - see the photo. To resolve this, sand away part of the flybar control rod as in the second photo. I'm not sure what happens if you don't correct this problem, but I guess you risk breaking the link or having it pop off in flight, and it certainly causes stress on the links, swash and servos. Don't sand away more than strictly necessary, as it will reduce the strength of the link a bit.
