OS50SX-H ring

This manual is in pdf format, and is a slightly optimized version of the manual as on the os engine homepage.

There are two separate leaflets, with a note on the carburetor and one with a note on the mounting of the engine.

Note: the 2002 OS catalog shows the same carburetor as mounted on their airplane engines, with a 14 mm outer diameter. But on my engine the newer carburetor is mounted, which has a 16.5mm outer diameter (I'm happy with the new carburetor, but my air filter does not fit so nice!). Check with the picture, which shows the new carburetor.

I found the following bearing sizes (never measured myself but they fit so it must be OK):
The front (outer) bearing (OS #26731002) is 9.525x22.225x7.142 mm (.375"x.875"x.281"). Schwartz Rotterdam has this part under number EEB-3-2Z. Graupner number is 147728.
The rear (inner) bearing (OS #26730010) is 28x15x7mm. Schwartz Rotterdam has this part under number 61902 (about €14).

This manual is unmodified as on the OS homepage. The differences with the non-hyper are the carburetor and the blue cooling head. The hyper has the same bearings as the non-hyper.
