Welcome to your Pocket Negotiator!

This is a prototype of the Pocket Negotiator.

The Pocket Negotiator collaborates with you in your upcoming negotiation to make it a pleasant experience. The Pocket negotiator can be used for preparation (training sessions), to provide support during actual negotiations, and for mediating support.

Throughout the process you will prepare yourself, understand what you and the other really want, find arrangements that suit both sides and finally come to a successful deal.

A negotiation is commonly divided into four separate phases: Preparation, Exploration, Bidding and Closure. Just follow the arrows at the bottom to walk through them. If you wish to return to a previous phase to modify your choices, use the bar to the left.

Pocket negotiator anonymously tracks your actions. No personal information is stored, so stored information can not be tracked back to you. Please continue only if you agree with this.

The bidding phase Hide

In the bidding phase, you and the opposing party continuously offer bids to each other. You can specify your offer using the input fields below. When you are satisfied, press Enter bid after which the other can make an offer.

Notice that you can see how much utility each offer provides to either party. You can also have the Pocket Negotiator suggest a bid to you, when you press Suggest bid, and you can also click in the pareto graph to have a bid generated from the clicked position.
